How to Increase your Affiliate Income Quickly? If you are into monetizing your blog, you may use Affiliate Marketing as one of the method of earning money.
However, if you are a newbie, may be you are not sure how to promote products for maximum sales. Affiliate Marketing is just not selling a product for a commission. If you do it right, it is a great way to earn a decent income.
Below are few tips for you if you are into affiliate marketing.You will also need to know these accounting tips for bloggers.
Why I say ‘be organized’? Because there are lots of networks that you can find products or you can join as an affiliate, it is not uncommon that you will end up with signing up with lot of affiliate programs here and there.
But, at the end of the month how do you find the earnings and how to track your sales? Even worst, if you join with different affiliate programs, you’ll earn few commission here and there(at the beginning) and may be you don’t have reached the minimum payment amount in any product. This will end up with no payment and you will frustrate in few weeks.
In another way, you’ll forget all the affiliate programs and even the passwords and the user names used to sign up. This is horrible.
Therefore, try to be organized. Here are few tips.
- Use a spread sheet or even a note book and note down your affiliate programs, user names and passwords.
- Try to join with affiliate networks than different single programs. In Affiliate networks, you’ll find different products. But any sale commission will be added to your main account making it easy to track the monthly sales. Also it is easy to reach the minimum payout soon.
Some of Affiliate networks are Click bank, Shareasale, and Commission Junction. Amazon is also a good program with lot of products although the commission is not very high.
Now, assume that you are already into an affiliate program.
The next thing that you would want to do would be more sales and conversions, right? Even you want to earn double, triple commissions. But, how do you do that?
Here are some tips on how to boost your affiliate commissions and also the earnings as an after effect of increased commission!
#1. Know the best program and products to promote.
No doubt that you want to promote a product which will enable you to gain the highest profits in the shortest possible time.
However, there are few factors to consider when selecting a good Affiliate program.
Try to choose the ones that have a good commission structure. However, always consider the products that fit in with your target audience. Don’t just choose a high commission Affiliate program if the product is not worth for your readers.
However, with time If you cannot seem to increase your earnings, dump that program. Keep looking for better ones.
#2.Write Blog posts about your product
I’ve seen many bloggers sharing banner ads in their side bar. Even I use some advertisements in my side bar. However, for me the most successful method is blog posts. Write review posts about the product you promote, or write some related article and insert your affiliate link within a suitable content.
In the reports, provide some valuable information for free. If possible, add some recommendations about the products. With eBooks, you get credibility. Customers will see that in you and they will be enticed to try out what you are offering. People like to hear your opinion and this is an easy way to increase more conversions.
#3.Build your email list
From the beginning you start promoting products, Collect and save the email addresses and try to have a good list. You can collect emails either by offering a free product or even by requesting to join to your newsletter for product promotion.
Through your list, you can make follow-ups and remind them to make a purchase from you. However, don’t overdo. You will get lot of unsubscribes than purchases.
#4.Request a higher commission from merchants
Anyway, this is only if you have done few sales for that product. If you are already successful with a particular affiliate product and if you have generated few sales, try to approach the merchant/affiliate manager. Negotiate an increase of percentage commission for your sales. Chances are high that you will get an increment. However, prove them with your sales history and how you can send more sales, conversions in future.
